Anthony is a full-time Emergency Physician at the Vancouver General Hospital Emergency Department. After completing his UK Mountain Medicine diploma, he and like minded colleagues, founded the Canadian Society of Mountain Medicine to help promote better care for like-minded outdoor enthusiasts and collaborate with a growing international body, through the InternationaI Commission on Alpine Rescue (ICAR).

He is an avid skier and has been professionally involved with Whistler-Blackcomb for the past 30 years. He started his career as a ski patroller. where he was involved in all aspects of first aid, avalanche control, high angle rope rescue and helicopter long line rescue. He remains active with Blackcomb Ski Patrol as a mountain physician. In addition, he is the Medical Advisor to Mike Wiegele Helicopter Skiing, where he occasionally also works as a tail guide. In addition to skiing he enjoys other self propelled sports including climbing, cycling, paddling and most recently kiting.
