Tom is an Emergency Physician and Royal College EM residency program director at Royal Columbian Hospital in New Westminster BC. He has a fellowship in Sports Medicine from UBC and completed the Diploma in Mountain Medicine in 2013. Growing up in Vancouver, Tom has a lifelong love of all things outdoors enjoying kayaking, running and mountain biking in summer and skiing in the winter.
Tom is a team physician with the Canadian downhill ski team, is the former medical director of Ironman Canada and is a physician with Whistler Blackcomb ski patrol. He has a special interest in simulation in medical education
